Welcome to Glenridding Sailing Centre – set in a picturesque location on the shores of Ullswater, the Lakeland village of Glenridding was described by Wainwright as ‘The loveliest square mile in all of Lakeland’.

Autumn Revised Opening

Glenridding Sailing Centre will be OPEN for all Launchers and pre-booked Hire every day until Monday 28th September.

From Monday 28th September, the Centre will be CLOSED on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through to the end of the season on 15th November.
There will be no staff on site, and no rescue cover or tractor assistance available on these days.
Launchers are welcome to paddle or sail on the days we are closed with the usual out of hours “at your own risk” proviso.

The Centre will be OPEN as normal for Launchers and Hire Thursday through to Monday during this period.
