Sailing Boat Hire
We have sailing dinghies for every ability and temperament, and if you hanker after a more traditional approach then try one of our ‘Traditional boats’. These tend to offer a more sedate sail and are ideal for families.
“…Thank you so much to the Sailing Centre and the young lady who quickly and efficiently sent us out on Ullswater in the traditional boat called the Lune Whammel. It was a delightful and easy craft to sail and brought back many happy memories of Lake District sailing very many years ago. I should love to come again and can highly recommend it…” Mikel P
Canoe, Raft & Kayak Hire
The canoes are ‘Canadian’ style open canoes for two or three people. They are made of tough plastic and are easy to paddle. We can raft 2 canoes together, great for extra stability, families with small kids etc. We also have 1 and 2 person sit-on kayaks for the more adventurous who don’t mind getting wet.
“…Had fun on a canoe raft with 2 boys and our dog. Really good value for money we had a fab time. Was pretty windy out and current was strong. We struggled getting back a bit but pleased we made it. Staff were really helpful…” – Gemma H
