STAGE 1
Learn how a boat is rigged, what to do to make it go and how to do it safely.
STAGE 2
Now we're starting to understand, back on the helm and into the wind. A little help and we can sail in all directions and still be in control.
STAGE 3
Here we are learning stuff like righting a capsized dinghy and rigging onshore. Rules of the road and what to do if Mum or Dad falls out!
STAGE 4
You should now be Master and Commander of your own vessel in light winds. But take it easy on your Mum and Dad, the RYA Youth Scheme wasn't around when they were kids...
Mum and Dad :: Our aim, in conjunction with the RYA, is to get youngsters on the water having fun in a healthy environment, with a safe attitude to sailing in four easy steps. No one will be made to do anything they don't want to do in the process and all will have fun, with no awareness that you've sent them somewhere to learn something they will never forget.
