RYA Level 2

dinghes

This 2 day course is the next step on the RYA syllabus. The course runs from 10am – 5pm with an hour for lunch.

Once completed the successful sailor will have a good understanding of what makes sailing safe and be capable of sailing confidently on his/her own in light winds.

The two day RYA Level 2 course at Glenridding Sailing Centre can be combined with our RYA 5 Day Course.

Emphasis is still given to the ‘on the water’ practical side, however there is more depth given to the theory. We continually and positively assess students and keep them informed of their progress.

“…I have just completed my RYA Level 2 Dinghy sailing. I did my Level 1 elsewhere, with poor instruction and nearly didn’t continue learning to sail. But GSC were friendly straightaway, on the phone booking, and a fantastic warm welcome upon my arrival. My instructor Alex was excellent, practical, calm, informative, and he pitched his communication at exactly the right level throughout the two days, highly recommended…” – Tim
