RYA Powerboat

DSC00502

RHIB’s (Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat’s) are exiting, versatile and fun. Our courses follow the RYA National Powerboat Scheme which is designed for those wanting to drive small open power boats, such as RHIBs, sports boats and small launches. These are the kind of boats used for short coastal or inland trips, fishing and safety cover for various watersports such as windsurfing, canoeing, sailing and diving.

The non-tidal inland waters of Ullswater provide a safe environment to develop the initial powerboat handling skills with large areas, various shores and numerous jetties for you to practice the skills needed to helm a powerboat confidently and safely.
