Canoe and kayaks are available for hire, for any period from an hour to a week.
The canoes are 'Canadian' style open canoes for two or three people. They are made of tough plastic and are easy to paddle. We have both 1 person and 2 person kayaks and during the busy summer months we operate on 'first come first served' basis.
Safety boat cover is provided during opening hours and life-jackets must be worn at all times.
Canoeing is normally restricted to the (quite extensive) area that is within range of our rescue boat and our field of view. This includes 3 beautiful islands and numerous beaches for exploring and picnics.
